We believe...Together with the 3-million member National Education Association and Missouri NEA, Special District NEA serves as the united voice to promote, advance and protect public education. We advocate for the rights and interests of students, and educators as the Exclusive Bargaining Representatives in Special School District.
Special District NEA is the largest local in the State of Missouri, we represent the certified staff of Special School District. SDNEA members serve over 24,000 students in 252 buildings across the 22 school districts of St. Louis County. SDNEA is the Exclusive bargaining rep for SSD, meaning we are the only organization who represents educators in negotiations and personnel matters.
